Post & Beam Residence
Here an existing Post & Beam Structure required the addition of a new kitchen, wet bar, mudroom, three season screen/sun room, sitting room, glass breakfast bay with built-in balcony, added bedroom & bathrooms, new laundry and various renovations throughout including a new stair to access the second floor. Design challenges included tying in the existing post & beam feel with updated additions requiring new supports for the post & beam structure as well as using new exposed rafters and wood ceilings to tie the new structure in with the old.
