Boothbay Residence
A new shingle style residence with a modern twist. The hip roof forms cascade from a high vantage point, down a hill side incorporating landscape water and terrace features for entertaining and family enjoyment. High ceilings and an expansive glass on the first floor take advantage of water views and nearby islands. Undulating hip roofs provide a sense of connection, protection and relationship to the hill-side site and trees. The massing of the second floor is brought down with bedrooms and balcony integrated within the roof lines and topped with a small study and cupola above the central building core. Clean lines and open concept interiors create a seamless connection from internal spaces to the outdoors.
